New Incubator’s announcement to host innovative companies

Since July 17 the announcement for the selection of new companies to be hosted in the Incubator of Città della Scienza is online. The incubator, part of the Technology Centre of Città della Scienza, welcomes innovative companies and start-ups, offering spaces for the location and specialized services to support the growth and development of the business system in Naples. All individuals who work or intend to work in innovative business will be able to submit their applications using the forms available on this website since July 25.

To apply, companies have to work in one or more of the following fields:

  • Smart Cities and Green Economy: Environment, energy, cleantech, green mobility; Bio Economy: medical technology, biotechnology, health, life sciences, agri-food economy of the sea.
  • Creative Industries: advanced design, digital fabrication, new media, digital applications, smart education, culture and leisure;
  • New Frontiers of Information and Communication Technologies (eg. Internet of Things, user interfaces, wearable devices, cloud computing, big data, security, virtual reality, new applications and solutions for the web).
  • Manufacturing 2.0: robotics, mechatronics, nanotechnology, new materials, industrial processes.

Among the services offered to selected startups and spinoffs there will be available: support from the phase of establishment to that of development, in particular in the definition of the business model, its development, the search for technology partners, industrial and commercial assistance in fundraising. These services will be divided according to the development needs of individual businesses.

As the aim of the initiative is to promote the startup and growth of new businesses, which will then continue to develop outside the incubator, the maximum stay of each company in the structure is 36 months.
