ON THE ROOF OF THE WORLD: HIGH ALTITUDE RESEARCH – Connection with the Ev-K2-CNR Pyramid in the Himalayas

On Thursday 7 October, the Embassy of Italy in Mexico in collaboration with Città della Scienza in Italy and Universum and the Government of the State of Guanajuato in Mexico, organizes a live streaming event with the Pyramid laboratory-observatory in Nepal managed by the Association Ev-K2-Minoprio.
The event takes place as part of the Sustainability Festival promoted by ASviS (Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development) in synergy with the “Youth4climate: Driving Ambition” initiatives and preparation for CoP26 in Glasgow, as well as enrolling in the events towards the XXXV edition of Futuro Remoto 2021 dedicated this year to the theme of Transitions.
This event wants to create new learning opportunities for younger generations as expressed in the Millennium Goals, intending to foster the development of a culture of sustainability that aims to sensitize them to the effects of climate change, the conservation of ecosystems and biodiversity, as well as to promote their active participation on sustainable issues. Children of primary and middle schools in Mexico and Italy will have the opportunity to make a virtual tour of the Pyramid and interact directly with the researchers who work in it.

The live streaming will be broadcast at 4 pm on:
