New call for 1 scholarship for “Research and Application on digital fabrication using CNC machines and their operating software” –  from January to November 2017 – € 12.900

The scholarship will last from January 23rd, 2017 which is valid until November 30th,  2017 and will be held in Naples at Fondazione IDIS – Città della Scienza. Requirements: 32 years of age at the start of the bag, a master degree in disciplines related to mechanical engineering or mechatronics, robotics  with a final grade starting from101/110.

They can also join those who, while not holding a master degree, can demonstrate  skills or experience in the object of the scholarship, with particular reference to issues related to 3D printing, rapid prototyping , to digital fabrication, design and manufacture of CNC machine techniques.

The candidate must have a good knowledge of English, written and spoken.

The candidate is required attitude to  research,  design, teamwork,  interpersonal relationships.

Knowledge:
- For G-code generation software, eg: Alphacam RhinoNest, RhinoCAM, Care, Slic3r;
- CNC hardware: Lasercut, 3.5-axis milling, Printers FDM, SLS, STL, 3D Scanners and in general the equipment used in digital fabrication;
- Hardware for automation, eg .: Arduino, Raspberry Pi.

Call for one scholarships: “Supporting Buolding activities of Città della Scienza”

Applications deadline: January 30th, 2017: 1pm.

 

Activities will focus on the design and adaptation of working systems, in particular electrical and organization / management of daily maintenance.

Scholarship will start from  February 15th, 2017 to be held in Naples at Fondazione IDIS – Città della Scienza.
Requirements: under 32 years of age  master degree in electrical or electronics engineering or with prevailing trend in the subject field of the scholarship. They can also join those who, while not holding a master degree, can demonstrate skills or qualification under the object of the scholarship, with particular reference to issues relating to the design electrical systems.
The candidate must have a good knowledge of the English language, written and spoken.
Other requirements:  attitude to the design work,teamwork, to interpersonal relationships.
Knowledge  request:
- Notions concerning contract specifications, bills of quantities, preparing final designs;
- PRIMUS CAD software.
