For game-proof physics of forces!
In the sciences, any kind of movement in which you push or pull something is called a FORCE. Forces make objects move or prevent them from moving: when you push a door to open it, you use a force; if the door has a spring, the force of the spring closes the
door. The intuitive idea of force, then, is often linked to muscular effort: the verbs push, pull, compress, stretch, accelerate, brake, slide, throw, hit… always imply the intervention of a force. But let us be careful: it is not only people and animals that cause all the forces in the world! There are constant changes happening in the universe, and many of these changes involve forces: that of the wind blowing, water flowing, gravity pushing us down, and so on. Some are not very intense, others are so great that we can hardly imagine them. All forces, however, share one characteristic: they cannot be seen, and what we observe are only the results.
