Among ripples, waves and shining rainbows!
Impossible not to be fascinated, inspired and involved by light! Whether it is the rising and setting of the sun, colors, propagation, reflection and refraction, light is a phenomenon that never ceases to provoke wonder and curiosity. The nature of light has thrilled some of the finest minds in history, beginning with the origins of optics in Euclid’s Ancient Greece and continuing in a radiant unbroken path through the ages. The Enlightenment, for example, was rich in discoveries about light, the sun and the stars; just think of the corpuscular theory of light formulated by Newton. And so, theory after theory, our knowledge of light was “enlightened” and its mysteries gradually dragged “out of darkness”!
We look forward to seeing you at Science City, June 17 and 18, to learn more about the properties of this fundamental electromagnetic wave that allows us to admire everything around us.
There will also be shows at the Planetarium and guided tours of the interactive museum of the human body Corporea and the scheduled exhibitions: Insetti & Co, 7 Steps in sustainability and “Spazio al Futuro”.
