Europe Day 2015, May 9th

Work together to fight crisis creating an European citizenship basede on knoweldge and innovation to promote a clever, sustainable and inclusive economy. this is Eurpe 2020 strategy.

For 65th anniversary of Schumann Declaration of May 9th 1950, which marks the beginning of the project of a united and at peace, Città della Scienza aims to celebrate Europe Day with a full program of events for schools, universities and businesses.

The objective of the festival is to approach people about Europe and its opportunities, with particular attention to young people, Italian and international, real protagonists of this celebration day.

Participatory workshop aimed at university students
Europe is currently experiencing a moment of crisis, when its founding values seem to falter. What does Europe mean to you in everyday life and what opportunities would you find? Students…you are the future, contribute with your ideas to a new vision of tomorrow’s Europe. Your suggestions will be shared at the end of the work with representatives of the European Institutions.
