Tell me what you eat and I’ll tell you who you are! Weekend at Città della Scienza

visual we 26-27 giugno

Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 June an expert naturalist will lead us, through a fun interactive game, to discover the anatomy of animals by observing the adaptations of their teeth according to their feedings.
We will observe the differences between carnivorous, omnivorous and herbivorous animals and see which tooth shapes are best suited to a certain type of food and also make a comparison with the human species that will leave us, it is appropriate to say, “with an open mouth” . It will be the right occasion to get live observations of the skulls of animals never seen before, from the lion to the turtle, from the wild boar to the whale thanks to the finds from the Bologna collection, and above all to notice the amazing adaptive properties of mammals and reptiles.
At the end of this fun scientific activity there is a final quiz to test our observation skills. Come and find out who will be the most attentive naturalist!
