The history of scientific research and its popularization is well showed in our Science Centre. Texts, hypertexts, historical objects, models, simulations, reconstructions and research tools of the past prove the evolutionary dimension of scientific knowledge.
In particular, the old tools – dating back to the first years of the 20th century – catalogued and exhibited in this area show how was the scientific popularization in the past centuries. They are unique prototypes, so they cannot be handled by the public.
The cabinets where the instruments are hosted come from the original laboratories of the schools where they were used. The instruments are showed following the traditional partition of the Physics in Mechanics, Heat, Optics, Electricity and Magnetism, Acoustics.
