Communicating Physics 2014 takes place at Città della Scienza next October 8th -10th. It’s a conference organized every year by the National Institute of Nuclear Physics.
Recent media success of particle physics – accelerator at CERN LHC and the discovery of the Higgs boson – will be at the centre of the debate. During the first day Pietro Greco, a scientific journalist, and Marco Cattaneo, director of ” Sciences” and National Geographic Italy, will talk about relationship between the physics and tools of mass communication. During the following days the conference, in relation with the vent “ Three days for School “, will focus on physics in museums, exhibitions or large events for the general public, such as Science festivals.
The third day will be dedicated to teaching and teachers with particular attention to the use in this innovative field of new technologies, such as smartphones and tablets
