SanitUp will be an innovative startup that aims to revolutionize the Healthcare sector thanks to the “new” technologies. The team is highly heterogeneous, with skills ranging from communications to medicine.
The main project is G.L.o.W. (Glucose Level on Wrist), a smart wristband that will allow the diabetic patient to keep under control, in a minimally invasive way, glucose levels in biological fluids through the use of an innovative technology based on polymeric microneedles.
The basic idea is to improve the life quality of patients, providing a painless solution useful to avoid the potentially dangerous consequences of glucose fluctuations, which occur more frequently at night and during physical activity.
Main Activities
● Research and Development of innovative biomedical devices, even collaborating with research institutes, companies and universities;
● interactive exhibit design for events and fairs in the eHealth field.
