china-italy

Nowadays China is one of the main countries in the world that most invests in science popularization; there is a huge quantity and size of national and local initiatives organized in China as well as a growing number of science centres and museums that have been created or renewed in recent years. The extreme importance of a Sino-Italian relation between Italy and China in the field of dissemination of scientific culture is quite evident in order to build opportunities for discussion and exchange on models adopted but also to develop concrete activities projects and joint actions to strengthen scientific cooperation. The multicultural approach to science is also of great importance, China and Europe, even historically, have different ideological and historical assumptions such as approach to medicine. An exchange between these scientific cultures is the aim of China-Italy Science and Technology Week this week that is the goal of building a common network specifically dedicated to the dissemination of scientific culture and communication to the general public.

After the seminar participants can participate to round tables to discuss opportunities for cooperation and collaboration between Italian and Chinese institutions working in the field of scientific communication.
