In the open areas of Città della Scienza guides have offered visitors indirect observation of the phenomenon using a simple device: a frame in black cardboard and a piece of aluminum foil pierced by a pin. Through the small hole on a white paper is projected the image of the solar disk, during the eclipse, appeared incomplete, like a rising moon.
