On Tuesday, January 24, Città della Scienza hosts a delegation of the International Astronautical Federation (IAF), led by its president Berndt Feuerbacher, and a delegation of the Italian Space Agency (ASI), led by president Enrico Saggese.

The event is part of a series of meeting organized by Norberto Salza, Executive Director of the IAC 2012 Organizing Committee, between the 23rd and the 26th of January with representatives of the institutions who supported and encouraged the nomination of Naples.

The International Astronautical Congress (IAC) will be held in Naples from the 1st to the 5th of October 2012, with the partecipation of about 5,000 delegates among representatives of international space agencies, policy-makers, high-tech companies, students and university teachers.

Space will be the main theme of the 26th edition of Futuro Remoto, “Factories of the Sky”.
