On Sunday, January 22, Annelize and Martin Potgieter, professors at the Limpopo University, South Africa, paid a visit to our Science Centre in Naples for studying its management with a view to the realization of a science centre in their university’s campus.

The new science centre will open within few months in this rural area in the north-east of South Africa, with the aim of arousing the interest of the youngsters towards science and scientific careers, filling the gap of facilities and educational equipment in this region.

In the next weeks a Memorandum of Understanding between Limpopo University and Città della Scienza will be signed in order to develop cooperation programmes and shared activities aimed at exchanging best practices between our science centres.
