Two hundred years of bicycles

On the occasion of the bicentennial of the invention of the bicycle, four museums of science, on three different continents - Città della Scienza of Naples, the Bloomfield Science Museum of Jerusalem, Israel; The Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa, Canada; The Universum of Bremen, Germany – joined forces and create a unique exhibition on the theme of the bicycle.
The Bicycle Exhibition will open on July 7 in Jerusalem and will be in Naples in June 2019. It consists of dozens of interactive exhibits and digital instruments, as well as items from historical collections and includes three sections: bicycle and man, Bicycle car and bicycle and the environment. Each section is enriched by various types of interactive exhibits, including a real wind tunnel, multimedia programs, historical collections of articles, bicycles and artifacts important to technological developments, design and historical history.
