On Friday, June 6 has been signed an important agreement of collaboration and partnership between Città della Scienza and Beijing Hi-Tech International Business Incubator Co., Ltd.
Through the protocol, a permanent collaboration between the two structures has been defined, aimed to to provide a specialist assistance to innovative companies and research centers who wish to enter into the Chinese market. The CIBIC is in fact the service platform suitable for the purpose, as it works since 2011 between Italy and China in the field of innovation on the mandate of the China-Italy Technology Transfer Center. Città della Scienza becomes a hub of interconnection with China for the Italian innovation but, at the same time, thanks to the principle of reciprocity set out in the agreement, it also becomes the frame of reference in Italy for technology transfer of Chinese companies that want to enter into the Italian market.
During the meeting, in which the Chief Executive Officer Vincenzo Lipardi explained to the Chinese delegation the activities of Città della Scienza, the organization of the next editions of the China Italy Innovation Forum (CIIF) and the Sino-Italian Exchange Event (SIEE) has been discussed. The two events are the the main platforms for scientific and technological cooperation between Italy and China. The 2014 edition of SIEE will have a first stage in Naples, at Città della Scienza, in October, with B2B tables, seminars and the presence of the two Ministers of Research, Stefania Giannini and Wan Gang. The CIIF will be inaugurated on October 15 in Rome by Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and the Prime Minister of China, Li Keqiang.
