On June 23rd, Città della Scienza hosted a Chinese delegation of the Beijing Association for Science & Technology (BAST), as part of Beijing BAST is a partner of Città della Scienza in the organization of the Sino Italian Exchange Event (SIEE) – the program of scientific and technological cooperation between Italy and China that Fondazione promotes and manages since 2006 and that – along with China Italy Innovation Forum (CIIF) – today is the framework in which Italy and China cooperate on issues of Research and Innovation.
During the meeting organizational aspects and content of the edition 2014 of the cooperation program have been defined. First date will be at Città della Scienza – with SIEE – on October 13th and 14th, the second in Rome on October 15th with the CIIF- which will be inaugurated by Prime Minister Italian, Matteo Renzi and the Prime Minister of China, Li Keqiang.
Some exponents of Sino Italian Exchange Event (SIEE) of China and Italy Innovation Forum (CIIF) including ENEA – Italian National Agency for New Technologies, Energy and Sustainable Economic Development and the National Research Council – the National Research Council as well as representatives of the most important scientific institutions of the city: the Zoological Station Anton Dohrn, the Vesuvius Observatory, the Astronomical Observatory of Capodimonte, the Virtual Archaeological Museum of Herculaneum, the University of Naples “Federico II” University of Naples “L’Orientale”.
