Additional information are available about logistical arrangements and details of the program of activities organized for the China (Shanghai) International Technology Fair that will take place from April 21 to 23 2016.

Besides sending a draft of the program drawn up jointly by the ICE Office in Shanghai and the Consulate General in Shanghai, we invite all those interested to participate in the B2Bs sessions, organized for the afternoon of April 21 and 22, to fill in the form (B2B request form) in English and send it to this email address: shanghai@ice.it and in copy Dr. Romano (cromano@cittadellascienza) on the email by March 30th 2016 in order to facilitate the connection with the most suitable Chinese counterparts. For this purpose an updated list of the Chinese representatives who will attend the Fair has also been made available.

As regards the provisions about the release of the visas, all the participants are invited to fill their information in the specific form to be forwarded to the person in charge of the organization in Shanghai, Ms. SUN Saige (saiges@csitf.com), and copy ICE Office in Shanghai (shanghai@ice.it) on the email. Once received the letters it will be possible to go to the Embassy or to the Chinese Consulates in Italy and complete the application.

Regarding the solutions suggested for the participants’ accommodation, the organizing committee recommends for logistic and organizational reasons that the entire delegation lodges at the Hotel recommended, which is about 25 minutes from the exhibition center where event will be held. In the same hotel (Dongjiao State Guest Hotel) the gala dinner will be hosted on April 21 and, in the morning of April 22 there will be the “Road show Forum for Internationalization”. The accommodation at the Hotel Dongjiao provides a shuttle service to and from the exhibition center.

For those interested to lodge in the hotel recommended it is possible to check the fees submitted by the organizers to ICE Offices. For those interested in joining the suggested accommodation at Dongjiao State Guest Hotel it is available a form for reservations. Once you have entered your information you should send the form to the contact person Angela (angelahappy102@hotmail.com) and copy the Shanghai ICE Office on the email (shanghai@ice.it).

Otherwise, the ICE Office is available to organize the booking of the rooms in the following hotels, which cost will be borne by the participants, with special agreed rates (cost range 800-1200 RMB/per night):

All the suggested hotels are located in the central area and almost 30 minutes far from the Exhibition Centre in Pudong. The shuttle service for transfers has not been confirmed yet.

 

As for the equipments, the Italian participation will be structured in two different and separated areas but connected by a shared leit motif. The first one, consisting in 120 square meters, will be addressed to the presentation of the smart cities projects and divided into four quarters according to the proposal of Prof. Pagani, Scientific Attaché of the Italian Consulate General in Shanghai. The second one, dedicated to the companies/ organizations participating, will consist in 570 square meters, and will be defined after the conclusion of the phase of recruitment of participants. Generally it will consist in three areas: B2B workstations, lounge services and meetings, exhibition area.

Moreover, the ICE-Shanghai Office has been preparing the creation of a paper catalogue to promote the Italian participation in the event. The catalogue will be distributed at the fair during the three-day event.

It is required, therefore, to those people who want to be present on the afore-mentioned publication, to send the form filled in English, together with the institution’s logo in high resolution format and one or two photos of the products.
