The Moon Mapping project

The “Joint Lunar Map Drawing Project by Chinese and Italian College Students” is a long-term cooperation led by the Italian Space Agency-ASI and the Centre for Space Exploration with Italian and Chinese Universities to create a complete 3D “atlas” of the moon’s surface with a degree of coverage and accuracy never before available. The results of this important Italian-Chinese cooperation in the field of space exploration will be presented.
